As many in Lakeville and the surrounding towns know, the southeast of Massachusetts is made up of big hearts!!!  You may also know that our town has adopted a goal of supporting Camp Sunshine this year.  Camp Sunshine is a camp for children with brain tumors, and their families.  For more information please visit the following site:  http://www.campsunshine.org/.  The smiles you will see there will forever touch your heart.

At the "Moving Forward" Camp Sunshine kickoff event, a group of friends were inspired to do their part in raising funds for this wonderful charity and place.  The basic idea was to get people to join together to have fun playing golf, or just relaxing on the golf course while others play. The beautiful day out will be highlighted with a Jimmy Buffet Luau Party and Dinner.  If you play golf, you're fee includes this!  It will be one day in paradise for all who attend, that will hopefully lead to one week of sunshine for many families who rarely get to feel the ease most of us generally take for granted.  Through the funds we raise that day through attendees and hopefully through additional generosity and donations of those who will be with us in spirit, our goal is quite high, we are looking to send several families to Camp Sunshine!!!
